Stephen O. Ashley
Stephen O. Ashley is a Registered Representative in the financial services industry representing New York Life Insurance Co primarily as well as others. Stephens's business concentration is with small business owners, young families, pre-retirees, retirees, and charitable giving. "My client goal is to be a resource that provides a wide variety of financial options to meet a client's needs." Stephen is a member of the industry's Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and has achieved a number of honors with New York Life including achieving the level of Partner within three yrs.
A native of Cleveland, OH, Stephen is a 1975 graduate of Kent State University in Management Science. He began his business career at General Electric/Thomson Inc. in the Consumer Electronics Industry, where he worked for 30 years. His experience includes directing regional and international operations, and living coast to coast and in many cities in-between. His last stop before returning to Cleveland was in Iowa where he was Director of Marketing in the office furniture industry with the HON Company, a business furniture manufacturer.
Stephen and his wife Renee' have been married for 40 years and they have two children. They now reside in Cleveland since returning to the area to care for family, after which time he joined the Cleveland office of the New York Life Insurance Co.
He serves on the boards of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Kent State University, and the Northeast Ohio Arthritis Foundation; and is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and the Economic Development Committee for the NAACP.
Stephens' hobbies/ interests include; self-development, golf, tennis, and giving back.
